Delicious friends, may your confessions be devoured!

Baked in honour of the Feast of Masks, The Reliquary of Secrets is a three layer chocolate cake with a hidden treat inside.  Locked within is a flock of bat-shaped confession cookies, each one marked with a sin of curiosity, guile, impropriety, violence, whimsy or pride.  Everything including the mask, chocolate feathers and gold sugar lace is completely handmade (and utterly delectable!)
